Geosyntec Consultants, Inc. in San Diego, CA is seeking an Experienced Water Resources / Stormwater Engineer to support high-impact stormwater capture, green infrastructure, watershed planning, and NPDES compliance projects across Southern California.

You will work with a team of engineers, planners, scientists, and GIS/CAD professionals to deliver practical, resilient water resources solutions. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of stormwater experience, a Bachelor’s in civil or environmental

Qualifications

  • 5+ years (7+ preferred) in stormwater or water resources engineering.
  • Experience with stormwater feasibility studies, BMPs, and watershed planning.
  • Proficiency with modeling tools (SWMM/PCSWMM, HEC-RAS) and GIS.
  • Knowledge of CA MS4/NPDES programs and related processes.
  • Strong writing, communication, and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

  • Support feasibility studies, design of stormwater capture and green infrastructure.
  • Perform hydrologic/hydraulic analyses for watersheds and drainage systems.
  • Prepare calculations, reports, and client presentations.
  • Coordinate with agencies, stakeholders, and interdisciplinary teams.
  • Lead or assist as deputy project manager on selected assignments.
