Geosyntec Consultants, Inc. is seeking an Experienced Civil / Water Resources Design Engineer for our Walnut Creek or Oakland, CA office.

You will support planning and design of municipal projects involving green stormwater infrastructure (GSI) and LID, with emphasis on hydrologic/hydraulic analyses and project delivery from concept through final design. The role covers coordination with clients and multidisciplinary teams, field investigations, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil, environmental, water resources engineering or closely related field (required).
• Advanced degree (preferred).
• Professional licensure (P.E., CPESC, CPSWQ) or ability to obtain.

Responsabilités

• Develop civil and water resources plans, profiles, specs, estimates and design documentation for municipal stormwater, drainage, GSI and related projects.
• Perform hydrologic and hydraulic analyses and stormwater sizing.
• Prepare construction drawings, specs and engineer's estimates from concept to final design.
• Prepare RFIs, submittals, and design change notifications; attend progress meetings.
• Support stormwater regulatory compliance related to NPDES permits, MRP, CGP.
• Conduct field investigations and data collection for drainage studies.
