Job summary

McMillen, Inc. is seeking a Senior Civil Project Manager (PM) with a PE license and 15+ years of water resources experience to lead multi-disciplinary teams on dam, hydropower, fisheries, water treatment, and stormwater projects.

The ideal candidate will be a Seller-Doer who can manage scope, guide design, and build client relationships across markets while traveling up to 25% of time; this role supports an employee-owned firm focused on solving complex challenges with real-world impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field required.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in civil and/or hydraulic engineering.
• Minimum 7 years of Project Management experience preferred.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required; NCEES registration preferred.
• Experienced with water resource infrastructure projects (fisheries, hydropower, dams, water treatment).
• Strong knowledge of civil engineering codes, standards, and industry best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams in delivering a wide range of water resources projects.
• Manage projects by defining deliverables, building teams, managing scope changes, and monitoring progress.
• Oversee planning, design, and construction support for water-related infrastructure.
