Job summary

GEI Consultants, Inc. in Knoxville, TN seeks a Senior Water Resources Engineer / Project Manager to lead regional water resources projects, including hydrology and hydraulics studies, FEMA floodplain mapping, watershed analyses, and stormwater design.

You will manage project teams, prepare proposals and technical reports, and build trusted client relationships across offices. This role offers growth in a collaborative, employee-owned culture with opportunities on large infrastructure projects

Qualifications

• B.S. or M.S. degree in Civil Engineering required; Master’s with Water Resources specialty preferred.
• TN PE certification.
• 10+ years progressive experience in Civil Engineering with extensive technical background.

Responsibilities

• Lead project teams to develop and execute technical approaches across the project lifecycle.
• Prepare proposals, SQ packages, and technical reports/deliverables.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and offices to meet quality, budget and schedule goals.
• Manage technical and financial performance to achieve company goals.
• Demonstrate leadership to instill client confidence and build relationships.
• Provide input and develop technical reports delivered on schedule with QC.
