Job summary

Stantec in the United States is seeking a Water Resource Engineer to join our Environment Services team. You will contribute to hydraulic analyses, habitat restoration, and flood risk projects across New England, with flexible location and Northampton, MA preference.

Strong writing, fieldwork, and collaboration across disciplines are essential. Required are a BS or MS in civil/environmental engineering and a PE license, plus 10+ years of experience in hydraulics and river mechanics; familiarity

Qualifications

• BS or MS in civil or environmental engineering.
• Professional Engineer license required; ability to obtain licenses in MA and other New England states within 3 months.
• Strong writing and communication skills; familiarity with civil engineering software.

Responsibilities

• Support water resource projects from assessment to design for habitat restoration.
• Perform desktop and field studies; contribute to dam removal, culvert replacement, and bridge hydraulics work.
• Develop hydrologic/hydraulic models and produce engineering design materials.
