Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Water Resource Engineer to join its Environment Services team in the Northeast, with flexible location across New England and preferred Northampton, MA. The role requires strong civil/environmental engineering knowledge, 10+ years of experience, and a PE license, with ability to obtain additional licenses in MA and other New England States within three months.

Responsibilities include desktop and field studies, dam removal, culvert replacement, bridge hydraulics, flood risk

Qualifications

• BS or MS degree in civil or environmental engineering.
• PE license required with ability to obtain additional licenses in Massachusetts and other New England States within three months of hire.
• Strong writing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Desktop and field studies supporting water resource engineering projects (aquatic habitat restoration, dam removal, culvert replacement).
• Hydraulic/ hydrologic modeling and analysis.
• Prepare engineering design materials and documentation.
• Collaborate across scientific disciplines within Environment Services.
