Job summary

BSC is seeking an experienced Water Resources Engineer/Project Manager - Hydraulics & Hydrology to lead complex projects focused on transportation hydraulics, stormwater management, flood mitigation, and climate resilience. The role requires PE licensure and extensive H&H modeling experience, with a focus on delivering safe, compliant, and efficient infrastructure solutions across New England.

Ideal applicants will have 8+ years in water resources, strong leadership, and excellent communication

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of progressive water resources and hydraulics experience including PM responsibilities.
• Massachusetts PE license (or able to obtain another state via reciprocity).
• Experience with MassDOT/CTDOT/MaineDOT projects and their hydraulic design standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute complex hydraulics and water resources projects.
• Manage multiple projects, schedules, and budgets with minimal supervision.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and clients; provide status updates.
• Ensure compliance with DOT/regulatory standards and project requirements.
• Identify risks, propose practical solutions, and escalate when needed.
• Provide mentorship and maintain strong client relations.
• Maintain organized project documentation and decisions.
