Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Marketing Proposal Specialist II to join our West Water Marketing Team and collaborate with West Region business development and operations on pursuits, including EOIs, RFQs, RFPs, and pre-qualification efforts.

This hybrid role can be based in Los Angeles, CA or other CA offices, with responsibilities spanning coordination, content management, and lead writer/editor duties for proposals.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Journalism, English, Communications, Marketing or a related field plus 2 years of experience and/or a demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
• Strong proposal writing and coordination skills are required.
• Ability to manage multiple proposals and deadlines with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assists with large proposals and can lead small to medium proposals, cross regions or lines.
• Coordinates content and information for qualifications and proposals, including schedule, templates, compliance, content plan and production.
• Provides conceptual leadership for document design and may lead writer/editor efforts for resumes and past performance sections.
• Facilitates color review and applies lessons learned to improve proposals.
• Manages proposal/presentation revisions per reviewer direction.
• Participates in go/no-go and greenlight analyses and related capture planning activities.
• Completes internal debriefs and reviews client feedback for continuous improvement.
• Understands company quality procedures and approval processes (legal, contracts, DOA).
• Liaises with business line teams to support marketing information and materials.
• Mentors entry-level proposal team members.
• Performs a self-check before submission.
