Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Marketing Proposal Specialist II to join our West Water Marketing Team, working with the West Region on pursuits from EOIs to RFPs and RFQs.

This hybrid role includes remote and in-office work across multiple California offices, with responsibilities in proposal coordination, content planning, and writing/editing resumes and past performance sections. You will collaborate with business lines, operations, and professional staff to deliver compliant, high-quality proposals.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Journalism, English, Communications, Marketing or a related field.
• Demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education accepted.

Responsibilities

• Assists with large proposals and leads small to medium proposals across regions.
• Coordinates content, templates, compliance, and production for qualifications and proposals.
• Provides leadership for document design and may act as lead writer/editor for resumes and past performance sections.
• Supports color review processes and applies lessons learned to proposals.
• Manages revisions based on review direction and participates in go/no-go analyses.
• Completes internal debriefs and reviews client feedback for continuous improvement.
• Works with business lines, operations, and BD professionals to prepare marketing content.
