Job summary
Arcadis is seeking a Senior Water & Hydraulic Engineer to join our Ohio-based team in a hybrid role across Cincinnati, Toledo, Cleveland or Akron.
Lead hydraulic modeling (SWMM/ICM), wastewater/stormwater planning, and client engagements while mentoring junior staff and guiding project delivery.
Requirements include a minimum of 7 years in water and hydraulic engineering, a Civil or Environmental Engineering degree, EIT or PE, GIS proficiency, and experience with Power BI or Python.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in water and hydraulic engineering.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or a Professional Engineer (PE) license, or the ability to obtain one within one year of hire.
- Strong experience with hydraulic modeling, particularly using SWMM and/or ICM, and GIS proficiency.
Responsibilities
- Develop and review technical reports and lead client presentations.
- Coordinate project deliverables, contribute to scope definition and project pursuits.
- Mentor junior staff and enhance team knowledge through workshops and industry publications.
- Travel may be required for site visits, client meetings, or project oversight.
