Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Senior Water & Hydraulic Engineer to join our world‑class firm in Ohio, with a hybrid work arrangement across Cincinnati, Toledo, Cleveland or Akron. You will leverage hydraulics and modeling to guide projects and mentor staff.

You will lead wastewater/stormwater modeling efforts, develop technical reports, and support client engagements and business development to advance climate resilience and sustainable design.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in water and hydraulic engineering.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or a Professional Engineer (PE) license, or the ability to obtain one within one year of hire.
• Strong experience with hydraulic modeling, particularly using SWMM and/or ICM, is essential, along with proficiency in GIS.

Responsibilities

• Develop and review of technical reports.
• Lead client presentations, coordinating project deliverables, and contributing to scope definition and project pursuits.
• Enhance the technical knowledge within the team by attending workshops, presenting at industry events, and reviewing professional publications.
• Travel may be required for site visits, client meetings, or project oversight.
