Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Senior Water & Hydraulic Engineer to join our Water Resiliency Planning & Design Teams in Ohio. The role focuses on hydraulics, collection system planning, and data analytics to guide local project teams, mentor junior staff, and develop new business opportunities.

You will lead model development for wastewater and stormwater systems, perform regulatory studies, and contribute to project delivery and technical excellence, with travel to client sites as needed.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in water and hydraulic engineering.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering is required.
• EIT certification or PE license, or ability to obtain within one year of hire.
• Strong experience with hydraulic modeling using SWMM and/or ICM and GIS proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Develop and review technical reports for wastewater and stormwater projects.
• Lead client presentations, coordinate deliverables, and assist with project pursuits.
• Mentor junior staff and share knowledge to raise team technical capabilities.
• Travel to site visits and client meetings as needed.
