Job summary

BELFOR Property Restoration seeks an Advanced Water Damage Specialist (Level 4) to lead drying and remediation for residential and commercial projects in Overland Park, KS. You will supervise crews, review project requirements, and document progress with field records and plans.

The role requires mastery of IICRC standards, use of moisture meters and IR cameras, and the ability to manage large losses. Travel, night work, and weekend coverage may be required; strong customer service and safety

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of IICRC S500 Water Damage Standard
• Working knowledge of IICRC S520 Mold Remediation Standard
• Carry current IICRC ASD designation
• Mastery of BELFOR Water Damage Book
• Proper use of meters and IR camera
• Understanding of air mover calculation and LGR dehumidification
• Proficiency with hydro-sensor tools and data recording
• Able to operate vehicle per BELFOR policy
• English language literacy
• Frequent lifting and physical demands

Responsibilities

• Direct teams in the use of PPE for each job
• Review daily project requirements and document progress
• Provide field documentation, photos, charts, and sketches for projects
• Read plans and determine drying objectives
• Calculate humidity load and cubic meters of affected areas
• Determine electrical consumption and temporary power needs
• Perform daily vehicle safety inspections and maintenance
• Maintain attention to detail and comply with BELFOR standards
• Communicate time worked and resources used timely
• Attend BELFOR operations and required security training
