Job summary

BELFOR Property Restoration in the United States seeks a Specialist in Water Damage - Advanced to lead the drying and repair of residential, large commercial and industrial projects. You will supervise crews, review project requirements, and ensure safety and documentation for diverse BELFOR operations.

This role requires deep knowledge of IICRC S500/S520, moisture mapping, humidity control, and electrical planning, plus strong customer service.

Qualifications

IICRC S500 Water Damage and S520 Mold Remediation knowledge required.
IICRC ASD designation must be held.
Proficiency in moisture mapping, humidity calculations and drying objectives.
Ability to supervise large loss sites and multiple crews.
Must demonstrate strong customer service and professional conduct.
Eligible to operate a motor vehicle per BELFOR's vehicle policy.

Responsibilities

Direct teams in using the right PPE for the job.
Review daily project requirements, document progress and notify managers of progress and challenges.
Provide field documentation, photographs, charts and sketches for TPA projects.
Draw sketches and read plans, develop humidity content records and determine drying objectives.
Calculate humidity load and cubic meters; request additional support for large losses.
Determine electrical consumption and temporary power needs for drying equipment.
Perform daily vehicle safety checks and maintain equipment.
Comply with BELFOR standards to safeguard client properties.
Maintain strong customer service knowledge and professional demeanor.
Work under time constraints; travel and night/weekend shifts may be required.
Attend BELFOR operations and required security training.
