Job summary

BELFOR Property Restoration is seeking a Specialist in Water Damage - Advanced to lead drying and repair efforts for residential and large-scale properties. The role requires coordinating multiple crews, ensuring proper PPE, and generating field documentation.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise with IICRC standards, specialized meters and cameras, and the ability to work under tight deadlines, including travel, nights, and weekends.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of IICRC S500 Water Damage Standard
• Knowledge of IICRC S520 Mold Remediation Standard
• IICRC ASD designation
• Mastery of BELFOR Water Damage Book
• Experience using meters and IR camera to differentiate affected vs unaffected materials
• Understanding of air mover calculations and LGR dehumidification charts
• Able to operate a vehicle per BELFOR policy
• English language literacy

Responsibilities

• Direct teams in PPE usage for the job
• Review daily project requirements; document progress and notify managers of challenges
• Provide field documentation, photos, charts and sketches for TPA projects
• Read plans/floor plans; develop humidity content records; determine drying objectives
• Calculate humidity load and affected volume; request additional support for large losses
• Determine electrical consumption of drying equipment and temporary power needs
• Perform daily vehicle safety inspections and maintain equipment
• Comply with BELFOR standards to protect property
• Maintain strong customer service mindset and meet deadlines
• Travel and work nights/weekends as required
• Timely reporting of time worked and materials used
• Attend BELFOR operations and safety training
