Job summary

GHD seeks a Senior Process Engineer in the United States to lead wastewater design on complex municipal and industrial projects. You will collaborate with national experts, translate engineering fundamentals into practical solutions, and mentor junior staff to elevate project quality.

This hybrid role offers in-office collaboration three days a week, with flexibility to base in US East offices and other locations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
Professional Engineer license.
8+ years of wastewater treatment design experience.
Ability to lead process engineering for large complex projects.
Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

Execute advanced process designs for municipal and industrial wastewater facilities.
Collaborate with senior national experts to implement innovative wastewater technologies.
Mentor junior engineers to ensure project quality and growth.
Assist with technical proposals and process approaches.
Conduct complex process modeling (BioWin, Sumo, GPS-X).
Support on-site startups and field troubleshooting.
Engage with equipment manufacturers to evaluate new tech.
Lead bench-scale and pilot-scale studies and scale-up.
