GHD in the United States is seeking an accomplished Senior Process Engineer to lead wastewater treatment design across municipal and industrial projects. You will mentor junior engineers and collaborate with national experts to translate complex concepts into practical solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
• Professional Engineer license.
• Minimum 8 years of wastewater treatment design and research experience.
• Ability to lead process engineering for large complex projects.
• Excellent written and oral communication with mentoring ability.
• Strong business development, proposal and marketing skills.
• Flexible and able to meet challenging deadlines.
• Strong client focus.

Responsibilities

• Executing advanced process designs for municipal and industrial wastewater facilities.
• Collaborating with senior national experts to implement innovative treatment technologies.
• Mentoring and providing technical direction to junior engineers.
• Assisting with technical proposals and crafting process approaches.
• Conducting complex process modeling (BioWin, Sumo, GPS-X) following best practices.
• Performing QA/QC reviews of calculations, reports and drawings.
• Facilitating technical workshops for clients on process alternatives.
• Supporting on-site startups and operational troubleshooting.
• Engaging with equipment manufacturers to evaluate performance.
• Managing bench-scale and pilot-scale studies for scale-up.
• Developing Multi-Criteria and Life Cycle Cost Analyses.
• Participating in regional and national professional organizations.
