Job summary
GHD is seeking an accomplished Senior Process Engineer to deliver advanced wastewater treatment designs across the United States. The role involves collaborating with national experts, mentoring junior staff, and engaging in client-facing proposals, within a hybrid work model.
You will lead complex projects, apply emerging technologies, and contribute to business development while ensuring technical excellence and project quality.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
- Professional Engineer license required.
- Minimum 8 years of wastewater treatment design experience.
- Ability to lead large complex projects and mentor staff.
- Strong written and oral communication skills; client-facing.
- Experience with process modeling and QA/QC of designs.
Responsibilities
- Execute advanced process designs for municipal and industrial wastewater facilities.
- Collaborate with national experts to implement new treatment technologies.
- Mentor junior engineers to ensure project quality and growth.
- Support technical proposals and craft process approaches.
- Conduct process modeling (BioWin, Sumo, GPS-X) per best practices.
- Lead technical reviews of calculations, reports and drawings.
