GHD is seeking a Senior Process Engineer for our Water/Wastewater practice in the United States. You will lead advanced process design, mentor staff, and collaborate with national experts on high-profile projects.

The role requires PE licensure, 8+ years of wastewater experience, and strong communication skills. Join a hybrid team with offices across the US East region to design sustainable solutions and support startups.

Qualifications

Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
Professional Engineer (PE) license.
8+ years of wastewater design and research experience.
Ability to lead large, complex wastewater projects.
Strong written and oral communication; client-focused and deadline-driven.

Responsibilities

Execute advanced process designs for municipal and industrial wastewater facilities, focusing on nutrient removal, biosolids management, and improving efficiency.
Collaborate with senior national experts to implement innovative wastewater treatment technologies on high-profile projects.
Mentor and provide technical direction to junior process engineers to ensure project quality.
Assist with technical proposals, crafting the process approach and innovative solutions.
Conduct complex process modeling (BioWin, Sumo, GPS-X) following modeling best practices.
Perform detailed QA/QC of design calculations, reports and drawings.
Facilitate technical workshops for clients to evaluate process options and capital improvements.
