North Texas Municipal Water District is seeking a Wastewater Plant Operator III to oversee operation, maintenance, and monitoring of wastewater facilities and systems. The role includes leading staff, coordinating repairs, and ensuring safety and compliance across assets.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED (associates preferred), a Texas Class B license, and 3+ years of wastewater experience.

Qualificações

• Must communicate effectively, both written and verbal, with supervisors, peers, and subordinates.
• Maintain basic computer skills and electrical and mechanical knowledge.
• Possess a Texas Class B Wastewater Treatment Operator’s License.
• Minimum of three years of wastewater treatment experience or relevant experience.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor, analyze, and adjust facility operations using SCADA, samples, and instrumentation.
• Train, lead, and mentor staff under supervision; uphold integrity, trust, respect, unity, safety, and teamwork.
• Coordinate repairs with maintenance; plan and implement maintenance procedures for treatment assets and lift stations.
• Maintain logs/records; use data to improve efficiency and operations.
• Observe safety policies and respond to emergencies and security concerns.
