North Texas Municipal Water District (NTMWD) is seeking a Wastewater Plant Operator II to monitor and operate wastewater facilities including SCADA, headworks, and solids handling. You will ensure asset condition, water quality, and safety standards are met while coordinating with maintenance teams.

Ideal candidates possess a high school diploma or GED (associate degree preferred), at least 2 years of wastewater experience, and a Texas TCEQ Class C license with a valid Texas driver's license.

Qualificações

• HS diploma or GED; associate degree or trade certification preferred.
• Minimum 2 years wastewater treatment experience or a suitable combination of directly relevant education and experience.
• Must hold a Texas TCEQ Class C Wastewater Operator license and a valid Texas driver’s license.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor, analyze, and adjust facility operations using observation, samples, instrumentation, and SCADA.
• Participate in an environment of Integrity, Trust, Respect, Unity, Safety, and Teamwork.
• Coordinate with maintenance on repairs; plan and perform maintenance procedures for facility assets.
• Maintain thorough logs and records in written and electronic form; suggest improvements.
• Observe safety policies and guidelines; ensure compliance with state statutes and NTMWD policies.
• Respond to emergencies, alarms, and planned shutdowns; troubleshoot problems.
• Perform cleaning of screens, grit, clarifiers, UV system, and other equipment.
• Maintain facility grounds and general housekeeping.
• Receive shipments and manage paperwork; ensure proper documentation.
• Learn and comply with applicable policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
