North Texas Municipal Water District is seeking a Lead Wastewater Plant Operator to oversee operation, maintenance, and monitoring of wastewater facilities, including SCADA systems. The role includes training staff, improving asset condition, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

The position requires a High School diploma or GED, 4 years in wastewater treatment, and a Texas Class B License; a valid Texas driver’s license is also required.

• Minimum four years in wastewater treatment or equivalent experience.
• Texas Class B Wastewater Operator License required.
• Valid Texas driver’s license required.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor and adjust facility operations using SCADA and testing.
• Train, lead, and evaluate staff; promote safety and teamwork.
• Prepare reports and maintain records on treatment facility management.
• Coordinate maintenance and service requests with maintenance teams.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental policies.
