Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Waste Manager in Salt Lake City to lead waste collection and disposal operations and coordinate across sites. You will supervise staff, manage schedules, and maintain client relationships while ensuring compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities include improving service delivery, supervising vendors, overseeing purchases, and guiding staff development. A strong background in waste management and leadership is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred with 5-8 years of relevant experience.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Facility Management certification preferred.
• Experience in staffing, development, coaching, and performance assessment is preferred.
• Experience in Waste Management and managing multiple sites.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Provide formal supervision to employees; monitor training and development.
• Coordinate and manage daily activities; set schedules and deadlines.
• Maintain positive client relationships and address waste issues.
• Assist in evaluating service delivery efficiency and procedures.
• Perform facility inspections following regulations; suggest improvements.
• Develop vendor relationships and oversee purchasing processes.
• Lead by example to align with CBRE RISE values.
• Identify and solve technical and operational problems.
