Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Waste Manager to plan, direct, and oversee waste collection and disposal operations across multiple sites in Denver. You will supervise staff, coordinate daily activities, and partner with clients to resolve facility-related waste issues.

The role requires 5–8 years of relevant experience, a valid driver’s license, and preferred Facility Management certification. You will drive efficiency, oversee budgeting, and help shape service delivery across the account.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred with 5–8 years of relevant experience.
• In lieu of a degree, combination of experience and education will be considered.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Facility Management certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide formal supervision to employees and oversee recruiting and hiring.
• Coordinate and manage daily team activities and schedules.
• Maintain positive client relationships and conduct meetings on facility/waste issues.
• Monitor and evaluate service delivery efficiency and procedures.
• Perform facility inspections and implement operational improvements.
• Develop vendor relationships and oversee invoicing and purchase orders.
• Lead by example to align with CBRE RISE values and organizational goals.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day-to-day and moderately complex issues.
