Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. in Cheyenne, WY is seeking a Waste Manager to plan, direct, and oversee waste collection, disposal, recycling and treatment operations across multiple sites. You will supervise staff, manage schedules, coach performance, and maintain strong client relationships while driving efficiency and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5-8 years of relevant experience. Valid driver’s license required.
• Facility Management certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide formal supervision to employees, monitor training, conduct evaluations and coaching.
• Coordinate and manage daily activities, set schedules and mentor staff.
• Maintain positive client relationships and address facility/waste issues.
• Monitor efficiency of service delivery methods and procedures.
• Perform facility inspections, ensure QA against regulations, propose improvements.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and direct changes.
• Develop vendor relationships and oversee invoicing, procurement of parts and labor.
• Apply knowledge across disciplines to meet team and client objectives.
• Lead by example aligned with CBRE RISE values and guide others.
• Identify and resolve complex operational problems and impact on the account.
• Improve and update methods, processes, and standards within discipline.
• Participate in budgeting and funds planning for staffing and equipment.
