Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Waste Manager to plan, direct, and oversee waste collection and disposal functions across multiple sites. You will supervise staff, coordinate daily activities, and maintain client relationships while driving process improvements and compliance.

The role requires a degree and 5–8 years of relevant experience; a valid driver’s license is required. Strong leadership and proficiency in MS Office are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred with 5–8 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in staffing, development, coaching, and performance management.
• Experience in Waste Management and managing multiple sites.
• Ability to convey sensitive information and drive performance.
• Strong leadership to motivate teams across disciplines.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Excellent organizational skills and analytical mindset.
• Intermediate math skills for financial calculations.

Responsibilities

• Provide formal supervision, training tracking, evaluations, and coaching.
• Coordinate daily activities, set schedules, and cross-train staff.
• Maintain client relationships and conduct meetings on issues.
• Monitor service delivery efficiency and procedures for improvement.
• Perform facility inspections and pursue operational upgrades.
• Develop vendor relationships and oversee invoicing and POs.
• Apply disciplinary knowledge to achieve team and client objectives.
• Lead by CBRE RISE values and influence others to align with policies.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day-to-day issues across systems.
• Contribute to budgeting and staffing/resource planning.
