Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in the United States is seeking an Operations Manager II to lead a diverse team of Supervisors and indirect reports, design efficient workflows, manage labor plans, and uphold health and safety standards across our warehouses.

You will drive KPI reporting, continuous improvement, and collaboration with HR for hiring top talent, ensuring orders are fulfilled promptly and customers are highly satisfied.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 1+ years logistics industry experience.
• 2+ years supervisory or management experience.
• Experience with P&L management, objective setting, and project management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop a diverse team of Supervisors and indirect reports, building an inclusive team culture.
• Develop and implement efficient workflows, labor plans, standardized processes, and best practices to boost productivity and reduce costs.
• Uphold health and safety regulations and promote a culture of safety awareness.
• Compile reports on KPIs including productivity and accuracy to support informed decisions.
• Foster open communication among leadership and associates to ensure transparency and teamwork.
• Collaborate with HR and site leadership to hire Supervisors aligned with values and requirements.
• Work with cross-functional teams to fulfill customer orders promptly and accurately.
• Partner with customers to address concerns and drive exceptional customer satisfaction.
