Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in the United States is seeking an Operations Manager II to lead a diverse team and drive operational excellence. You will coach Supervisors, optimize workflows, and ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery across the site.

The role emphasizes collaboration with HR and cross-functional teams to hire top talent, improve productivity, and deliver strong KPI results while building a culture of inclusion and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 1+ years logistics industry experience.
• 2+ years supervisory/management experience.
• Experience with P&L management, objective setting, and project management (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop a diverse team of Supervisors and indirect reports by providing coaching, guidance, and support as needed, while developing a strong team culture of inclusion and belonging.
• Develop and implement efficient workflows, labor plan, standardize processes, and introduce best practices to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve overall operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and foster a culture of heightened safety awareness.
• Compile comprehensive reports on KPIs, including productivity and accuracy metrics, to support informed decision-making and continuous improvement.
• Facilitate open communication among leadership and associates to promote transparency and teamwork.
• Partner with HR and site leadership to support supervisor hiring and talent selection.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to fulfill customer orders promptly and meet expectations.
• Engage with customers to address concerns and drive exceptional customer satisfaction.
