Job summary

Arvato is seeking an Operations Expert to lead the development and implementation of operating processes for new business initiatives. You will oversee warehouse operations, drive risk-aware project management, and ensure seamless onboarding of clients and processes.

You will collaborate with local teams on volume reviews, FTE planning, and ramp-up plans, delivering training and on-the-floor support during GoLive phases. A strong process mindset and SAP expertise are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Operations Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5+ years in a leadership role within a warehouse environment with track record of implementing new business operations.
• Strong understanding of logistics operations, process development, and project management principles.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills with cross-functional guidance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with stakeholder management experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills focused on continuous improvement.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time, occasionally more as needed.
• Proficient knowledge of SAP pertaining to warehouse activities.

Responsibilities

• Own the development and implementation of efficient operating processes and systems for new business initiatives.
• Collaborate with local Operations teams to conduct volume reviews, productivity assessments, and FTE planning.
• Develop and execute transition and ramp-up plans for internal and external stakeholders.
• Create project-specific training concepts and drive training program execution.
• Provide on-the-floor management and supervision during GoLive phases.
• Ensure full scope of system functions is known, utilized, and optimized across operations.
• Anticipate risks and develop mitigation strategies using industry best practices.
• Collaborate to define processes for ramp-up phases, including manual vs automated workflows.
• Identify opportunities for process enhancements and operational efficiencies.
