Job summary

Arvato is seeking an Operations Supervisor to manage labor and equipment in the assigned warehouse department. You will oversee receiving, storage, and distribution, train staff, and ensure quality and safety standards are met.

You will monitor KPIs, coordinate shifts, and drive process improvements while maintaining compliance with customer requirements and shipping rules. This role emphasizes leadership and operational excellence within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• Previous experience in a fast-paced, high-volume warehouse environment.
• Knowledge of picking, packing, and shipping tasks.
• SAP or equivalent WMS systems experience.
• 3-5 years of Supervisory experience or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to follow instructions, processes, and procedures.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy and analytical skills.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Hire and ensure proper training of new employees for the department.
• Supervise and coordinate activities of employees and monitor department functions on the floor.
• Receive and transfer materials.
• Performance management of all employees (KPIs).
• Document, update, and ensure procedures and quality processes are followed.
• Maintain supplies and equipment levels for the department.
• Monitor and adhere to customer requests and vendor-specific shipping requirements.
• Update and maintain timekeeping and metrics in business systems, as they relate to WMS reporting.
• Ensure shift-end procedures and floor end-of-shift closeout are followed.
• New customer integration and migration testing.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Understand traffic coordination.
• Support with departmental process improvements.
• Abide by safety and hygiene regulations.
• Follow and maintain 5S program guidelines.
• Perform additional tasks to ensure an efficient, safe, clean workplace.
