Job summary

Tellworks Logistics is seeking a seasoned Unit Manager to lead the Minnesota facility with a focus on safety, efficiency, and service excellence. You will supervise the site team, manage receiving, put-away, picking and shipping processes, and monitor KPIs to meet SLA targets.

The role requires strong warehousing knowledge, leadership, and analytical skills to drive continuous improvement, protect assets, and build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of warehousing operations +5 years of experience
• Ability to coordinate intra-departmental functions, synthesize and meet common objectives
• Leadership experience and capability within project execution and service delivery
• Strong analytical skills

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day management of the facility
• Lead weekly meetings with Regional Operations manager to discuss performance
• Troubleshoot operational, system or customer issues and implement corrective actions
• Monitor KPIs and SLA performance with Operations Manager
• Ensure proper receiving, put-away, picking and shipping processes are followed
• Maintain security procedures and safeguard warehouse assets
• Collaborate with management to improve customer relationships
• Conduct cycle counts and consolidations to meet SLA targets
• Coordinate asset tagging and loss mitigation during receiving/shipping
• Drive process improvement and warehouse standardization
• Lead safety initiatives and maintain a clean, safe facility
• Provide leadership, training and coaching to site team
• Approve overtime and purchases with Operations Manager
• Schedule staff and oversee daily work logistics
• Monitor RMA processes for SLA adherence
• Communicate with customers regarding capacity and overflow needs
• Track and report on OOS activities and data analysis
• Generate reports from data analyses
• Direct daily work and coordinate schedules
