Job summary

Group O is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day warehouse operations in Roanoke, TX. You will lead a warehouse team, implement best practices, and optimize processes to meet company objectives and customer requirements.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a proven ability to drive efficiency. You will manage people, processes, and resources to support operational excellence and growth.

Qualifications

• Two+ years’ experience in warehouse operations management.
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or related field, or certification is a plus.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all warehouse activities including receiving, storage, picking, packing and shipping.
• Develop and implement policies and systems to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Coordinate with departments to ensure seamless workflow and effective communication.
• Monitor inventory levels and control stock movements with accuracy and compliance.
• Lead, mentor, train staff; hire, perform disciplinary actions, and foster teamwork.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment and enforce safety regulations.
• Track metrics such as customer satisfaction and revenue growth to identify improvements.
• Stay informed about industry trends and market developments to guide operations.
• Develop and implement continuous quality improvement initiatives.
• Build and maintain relationships with vendors and monitor supplier performance.
