Job summary

GEODIS Group in Roanoke, TX is seeking a warehouse operations leader to establish and lead procedures for verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, inventory accuracy, and equipment maintenance.

You will coordinate with customer service and sales, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, manage staffing and training, monitor KPIs, and drive cost-efficient, high-quality service for our clients.

Qualifications

• Experience with warehouse management systems preferred.
• Experience with labor management systems and productivity initiatives preferred.
• PC literate and proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business materials and regulations.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to present information to groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.
• Ability to solve practical problems with limited standardization.
• Ability to interpret various written or oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and leads operational procedures for verification of shipments and inventory control.
• Ensures the physical condition of warehouse and equipment is maintained.
• Coordinates with customer service and sales to align warehouse activities.
• Manages staffing, training, coaching, and development for employees.
• Monitors KPI performance and cost efficiency in the distribution center.
• Ensures compliance with safety, sanitation, and regulatory standards.
