Job summary

Central Garden & Pet is seeking an experienced Senior Warehouse Manager to lead a fast-paced supply chain team onsite. You will oversee multiple warehouse facilities, drive safety, efficiency, and on-time delivery while collaborating with finance, sales, and operations.

The role demands strong leadership, 10+ years in distribution operations, and proficiency with WMS and RF tech. Bilingual Spanish is a plus and the team focuses on continuous improvement and cost optimization.

Qualifications

• BS degree preferred.
• 10+ years of distribution operations management experience overseeing order fulfillment, delivery, safety, inventory control.
• Strong leadership and management skills.
• Clear, concise written and oral communication; bilingual Spanish preferred.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and RF devices.
• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of warehouse operations managers and staff.
• Maintain safety-first culture across facilities.
• Provide regular performance reports to executives and departments.
• Develop and implement strategies for efficiency, accuracy, on-time delivery, and cost control.
• Drive continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives.
• Own budgeting for warehouse operations and resource allocation.
• Adapt to shifting business needs and support shifts as required.
