Job summary

DP World is seeking a driven and hands-on Senior Operations Manager in Palmetto, GA to lead frontline teams in a fast-paced warehouse and logistics environment, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality operations while developing and motivating team members to achieve daily production goals.

On the floor you will lead by example, drive performance through people, processes, and safety, and collaborate with customers to optimize scheduling and delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field preferred.
• Progressive experience in operational/plant management; automotive or logistics preferred.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents; strong written and presentation skills.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Proficient PC skills including email, record keeping, databases, and spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily activities of a logistics operation to maximize scheduling and delivery.
• Interface with customer to coordinate scheduling and maximize schedule adherence.
• Enact contingency plans and troubleshoot system problems; participate in post-mortem analyses for improvements.
• Review ongoing performance against targets and take corrective actions as needed.
• Provide effective leadership to Warehouse Managers and enforce company standards.
