Job summary

Sysco is seeking a Warehouse Operations Manager to direct all warehouse and distribution activities, ensuring safety, efficiency and cost-effective service across our facilities. You will lead the warehouse management team, enforce OSHA and safety programs, and align operations with company policies and productivity targets.

You will collaborate with Transportation, HR and Administration to optimize product flow, maintain a safe, sanitary environment, and uphold quality standards while coaching

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in operations management or related field.
• 10+ years of distribution/warehouse leadership experience.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety programs.
• Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Strong communication and coaching abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee, observe and enforce all safety rules to eliminate accidents and injuries.
• Hire, train, develop, evaluate and ensure accountability of the warehouse management team.
• Lead operations leadership to optimize productivity and cost efficiency.
• Maintain a safe, sanitary work environment meeting federal, state and company requirements.
• Collaborate with Transportation, HR and Administration to improve product flow.
• Ensure proper receiving, slotting and shipping with accurate product handling.
• Maintain documentation, records and performance evaluations.
