Job summary

U.S. Venture is seeking an experienced warehouse operations leader to oversee large facility logistics, warehousing and inventory management in the Sacramento region.

You will manage supervisors and office staff, ensure safety compliance, and drive efficiency across receiving, storage, and shipping functions. The role emphasizes leadership, collaboration with Sales, and strategic project work, with a compensation range that reflects senior responsibilities and a path toward process improvements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business required or equivalent
• Proven leadership in warehouse/operations roles
• Knowledge of inventory documentation and material handling
• Experience with budgeting, contracts, and shipping requirements
• Strong math, accounting and financial interpretation skills
• Excellent communication across levels of organization
• Demonstrated leadership and relationship-building abilities
• Willingness to travel nationally and hold a valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Measure and improve warehouse processes including inventory and transportation
• Provide timely and accurate reports on warehouse operations
• Communicate issues and actions to regional management
• Maintain clean, safe, and secure facilities and equipment
• Develop productive relations with vendors, suppliers, and shippers
• Lead and develop assigned personnel with clear objectives and reviews
• Schedule staffing and workload planning for peak periods
• Coordinate HR activities such as interviews, training and issue resolution
• Ensure safety programs compliance and conduct monthly safety meetings
• Support loss prevention and security measures
• Partner with Sales to meet customer needs
• Assist in strategic priorities, project management and process improvement
• Manage acquisitions, moves and special projects
• Plan and manage warehouse expenses to meet financial goals
