Job summary

DSV - Global Transport and Logistics seeks an experienced Senior Operations Supervisor to lead warehouse operations, across shifts, ensuring safety, quality, and cost controls. The role partners with the Operations Manager and mentors Supervisors and team leads.

Strong planning, coaching, and problem-solving skills are essential. The position requires 5+ years in logistics with at least 3 years in supervision, GED or high school diploma, and forklift training certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 5 years in logistics/distribution environment.
• Minimum 3 years supervisory experience.
• Forklift training certification required.

Responsibilities

• Lead staff meetings to plan workload and drive continuous improvement.
• Inform management and clients of operational issues affecting service, safety, or cost.
• Oversee multi-shift/large-team operations and provide coaching to Supervisors.
• Partner with Operations Management for planning, staffing, and workload forecasting.
• Identify risks and opportunities and develop corrective action plans.
• Ensure SOPs, safety, and quality standards are followed across teams.
• Drive KPIs for productivity, service, safety, and cost control.
