Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics is seeking a Team Lead, Operations to oversee warehousing, receiving, and shipping activities under the direction of the Operations Supervisor. You will guide associates toward meeting service and cost objectives while complying with safety and quality standards.

As part of the team, you will mentor staff, manage daily workflow, and ensure accurate loading in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and forklift/MHE operation are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• 1 year experience in logistics/distribution environment.
• Able to operate MHE.
• Must be able to work in unregulated temperatures within the warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and train new and existing associates on distribution activities to meet customer demands.
• Train on Standard Operating Procedures including shipping, receiving, picking, and quality control.
• Assist in forklift operation and certification for new and existing associates.
• Oversee unloading of inbound shipments and staging outbound shipments per SOPs.
• Verify inbound/outbound paperwork with drivers and ensure proper counts.
• Load orders accurately according to doors and trailers.
• Communicate professionally with customers and prepare activity reports for site management.
• Ensure products meet quality standards and report damages or discrepancies.
