Job summary

Johnstone Supply, a leading HVACR distributor, seeks an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead daily operations, manage staff, and ensure on-time order fulfillment in a safe, productive environment. You will coordinate inventory, train teams, monitor budgets, and uphold OSHA/regulatory standards across the facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 5+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combo.
• Minimum of 1 year directly managing a team in a busy warehouse.
• Experience managing logistics or related functions.
• Experience operating forklift and other warehouse equipment safely and competently.
• Experience with inventory management systems.
• Knowledge of OSHA, DOT, and other safety regulations and procedures.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; ERP training/experience valuable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee overall warehouse operation to ensure right product, right time, right condition, in a safe, clean, productive environment.
• Hire and allocate staff; train, coach, and conduct performance reviews.
• Monitor quality, efficiency, and attendance; address discrepancies and retraining.
• Ensure orders are picked/shipped on schedule with accuracy.
• Verify received merchandise against documents and store properly.
• Enforce safety programs and regulatory compliance; drive safety culture.
• Develop annual operating and capital budgets and monitor performance.
• Maintain inventory accuracy with cycle counts and physical inventories.
• Operate power equipment and lead process improvements; collaborate regionally.
