Job summary

Johnstone Supply is hiring a hands-on Warehouse Supervisor in Beltsville, MD to lead a focused team in a fast-paced HVAC parts environment. Responsibilities include daily operations, inventory accuracy, and cross-functional collaboration to meet customer needs.

The ideal candidate brings 3+ years of supervision experience, strong organization and communication, and a forklift certification or willingness to obtain one. Opportunity for growth and safety-focused culture.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a warehouse team to ensure smooth daily operations- including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping.
• Maintain accurate inventory through smart organization, regular cycle counts, and clear documentation.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments while ensuring safety, speed, and accuracy.
• Train new team members and promote a strong safety-first culture.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment (certification a plus-we can help if needed).
• Work closely with purchasing, sales, and customer service teams to solve problems and exceed customer expectations.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify areas for continuous improvement.
