Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is hiring a Senior Operations Manager (Operations Manager I) to lead a diverse team and optimize warehouse operations. The role emphasizes coaching, process improvement, safety, and KPI-driven leadership in a large, nationwide network.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of supervisory experience, with preference for P&L and project management skills. The position is onsite and offers a comprehensive benefits package including health, retirement, and PTO.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 1+ years logistics industry experience.
• 2+ years of supervisory or management experience.
• Experience with P&L management, objective setting, and project management.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop a diverse team of Supervisors and indirect reports, coaching and supporting a strong culture of inclusion.
• Develop and implement efficient workflows, labor plans, standardized processes, and best practices to improve productivity and reduce costs.
• Uphold health and safety compliance and foster a culture of safety awareness.
• Compile reports on KPIs such as productivity and accuracy to support informed decisions and continuous improvement.
• Foster open communication and collaboration among leadership and associates for transparency and teamwork.
• Partner with HR and site leadership to ensure a comprehensive hiring process for Supervisors.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely fulfillment of customer orders and exceed expectations.
• Engage with customers to address concerns and drive exceptional customer satisfaction.
