Job summary

O'Neal Industries, Inc. is seeking a results-driven warehouse leader to oversee operations, safety, housekeeping, 5S/Lean, on-time customer delivery, production efficiency and cost control.

You will manage KPIs, inventory accuracy, and employee development across direct and indirect reports, driving continuous improvement with CI and EH&S oversight while ensuring ISO, OSHA and EPA compliance and a safe, collaborative work environment.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• A minimum of 5 years proven effective leadership skills.
• A minimum of 5 years manufacturing/distribution/warehouse experience.

Responsibilities

• Leadership: Overall responsibility of warehouse operations including Safety, Housekeeping, 5S, Lean, On Time Customer Delivery, Production Efficiency and Effectivity, Cost Control, Inventory Accuracy, Shipping, Receiving, Employee Development and Compliance.
• Provide effective leadership to all direct and indirect reports to create/maintain an efficient, cost effective organization while creating a safe and enjoyable work environment.
• Responsible for hiring and performance reviews for all warehouse personnel in conjunction with Human Resources.
• Develop and implement quantitative goals and objectives for all direct and indirect reports that will support Operations, UPM and ONI Key Strategic Objectives.
• Through annual performance reviews, identify and implement personal development/training plans and career pathing for direct and indirect reports.
• Responsible for the training and development of all direct and indirect employees related to unacceptable performance, behavior and personal career development goals.
• Participate and lead weekly or periodic meetings with Operations personnel.
• Assist Operations Manager with project completion and developing strategies.
• HS&E/Compliance: Create and maintain a culture of Safety Awareness while enforcing company safety policies and procedures though total accountability at every level of the organization.
• Accountability for all aspects OSHA & EPA compliance related to warehouse operations.
• Continuous Improvement: Working with CI Manager, develop, implement, and maintain an environment of a Continuous Improvement (CI) culture at all levels of the warehouse operations.
• Housekeeping: Implement housekeeping standards and ensure the housekeeping in all areas of the warehouse is maintained to an acceptable level daily.
• 5S/Lean: Work with CI Manager to implement, enforce and maintain 5S and Lean concepts to achieve maximum productivity and efficiency.
• Productivity/Metrics/Operations: Ensure daily production/shipment schedules are executed and achieved efficiently; track KPI/Metrics and address gaps.
• Inventory: Ensure daily cycle-counts are completed; maintain heat lot traceability, quantity and location accuracy; manage scrap disposition.
• Quality: Support ISO compliance and ensure 100% adherence to internal and customer quality requirements.
• Ethics/Compliance: Maintain Code of Conduct and contribute to safety, security, and policy compliance.
• Leadership: Direct/Indirect reports varies by location; coach and mentor across teams.
