Job summary

United Performance Metals in Ohio is seeking a Warehouse Lead to direct operations across Production/Operations, Safety, CI, Quality, Customer Fulfillment and Cost Containment. You will lead safety initiatives, deploy Lean practices, and drive on-time delivery while developing a safe, productive workplace.

The role requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a minimum of five years in manufacturing or warehouse leadership and an Associate Degree or Lean/Six Sigma

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in related field or equivalent.
• Lean/Six Sigma Greenbelt Certified required.
• Minimum 5 years leadership experience in manufacturing/distribution/warehouse.
• Minimum 5 years warehouse experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective leadership to all direct and indirect reports to create/maintain an efficient, cost effective organization while creating a safe and enjoyable work environment.
• Oversee Safety, Housekeeping, 5S, Lean, On Time Customer Delivery, Production Efficiency and Cost Control.
• Develop and implement quantitative goals and objectives for all reports that align with strategic objectives.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA/EPA policies and maintain a culture of safety awareness.
• Track KPI/Metrics, address gaps, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
