Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Ladson, SC is seeking a Senior Warehouse Manager to lead the Distribution Center operations, overseeing warehousing and transportation solutions for our customers.

The role requires strong communication, leadership, and analytical skills with a track record of managing teams and improving performance in a fast-paced logistics environment. Salary is $90k-$96k with up to 10% annual bonus; full-time, Monday–Friday with potential shift flexibility and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain preferred.
• Master's degree in Business, Logistics, Transportation or related field preferred.
• Five (5) years or more relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, warehouse or related field.
• Five (5) years or more managing, leading and developing direct reports.
• Three (3) years or more Profit & Loss responsibility preferred.
• One (1) year or more customer interaction preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interface directly with the customer to ensure issues are resolved promptly and satisfaction remains high.
• Strategic operational planning and execution for the distribution center.
• Identify and solve operational issues with LEAN initiatives to boost productivity and results.
• Hire, supervise, develop and manage performance of employees.
• Maintain open communications within teams and other groups; review data and take needed actions.
• Possible management of profit and loss statements depending on scope.
• Lead a proactive safety program and maintain equipment readiness.
