Job summary

Ryder is seeking a Senior Warehouse Manager in Minooka, IL to lead the Distribution Center and oversee supervisors, delivering turnkey warehousing and transportation solutions while maintaining regular contact with customers.

The role requires 5+ years in supply chain or logistics, a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred), and strong leadership and communication skills. Salary is $85,000–$95,000 plus a bonus up to 10%, with a Monday–Friday schedule and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• H.S. diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or Supply Chain preferred.
• Master's degree in Business, Logistics, Transportation or related field preferred.
• Five+ years in supply chain, logistics, warehouse or related field.
• Five+ years managing, leading and developing direct reports.
• Three+ years Profit & Loss responsibility preferred.
• One+ year customer interaction preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interface directly with the customer to resolve issues and maintain satisfaction.
• Strategic operational planning and execution for the operation.
• Identify and solve issues with LEAN initiatives to improve productivity.
• Hire, supervise, develop and manage performance of employees.
• Maintain open communications within teams and other groups.
• May manage profit and loss statements based on organization scope.
• Lead a proactive safety program and ensure safe work environment.
