Job summary

Ryder Supply Chain Solutions is seeking a Senior Manager Logistics to lead the Distribution Center and oversee warehousing and transportation solutions. You will maintain a high-level customer interface and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities include strategic planning, team leadership, P&L oversight, and ensuring safety compliance. A strong focus on collaboration, data-driven decisions, and operational excellence is essential.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s in Business, Logistics, or Supply Chain preferred.
• Master’s in Business, Logistics, Transportation or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interface with the customer to ensure timely issue resolution and high customer satisfaction.
• Strategic operational planning and execution for the operation.
• Identify and solve operational issues with LEAN initiatives to improve productivity and results.
• Hire, supervise, develop and manage performance for employees and maintain positive employee relations.
• Maintain open communications within teams and across groups; review data and take action as needed.
• May manage profit and loss statements based on organization scope.
• Lead a proactive safety program aligned with company policy.
