Synchrony is seeking an AVP, Authentication – Wallets to lead cross-functional efforts across Authentication, Fraud Strategy and Emerging Payments. The role emphasizes monitoring wallet authentication performance, developing strategic plans to mitigate tokenization fraud, and partnering with Payments teams to advance wallet programs.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in financial services risk or credit with strong data analytics (SAS/SQL/Python) and advanced Excel; travel may be required.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree required; 5+ years in Credit, Marketing, Risk or Collections, or 10+ years in related roles.
• Experience analyzing large data sets to derive fraud insights using SAS/SQL/R/Python.
• Advanced proficiency with Excel.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Aufgaben

• Monitor authentication performance and its impact on wallet performance.
• Develop tactical and strategic action plans to address wallet/tokenization fraud risk.
• Partner with Emerging Payments on tokenization and digital wallet programs.
• Collaborate with fraud policy teams on provisioning rules for early days.
• Build and manage dashboards; analyze user behavior to reduce journey friction.
• Deep dive analysis of authentication leakage and respond to wallet complaints.
• Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned.
