Job summary

Synchrony is seeking an AVP, Authentication – Wallets in California to monitor wallet authentication performance and lead fraud risk strategies. The role partners with Emerging Payments and fraud policy teams to enhance tokenization programs and early provisioning rules.

You will build dashboards, analyze user behavior, and perform deep-dive analyses to reduce leakage and improve wallet success metrics across multiple programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in Credit, Marketing, Risk or Collections in Financial services, or 10+ years in Marketing, Risk or Collections if no degree.
• Experience analyzing large data sets to derive strategies, segmentation, and actionable fraud insights using SAS, SQL, R or Python; familiarity with analytics tools.

Responsibilities

• Monitor authentication performance and its impact on wallet performance.
• Develop tactical and strategic actions to address wallet/tokenization fraud risk.
• Partner with Emerging Payments team on tokenization and digital wallets programs.
• Collaborate with acquisitions and account management fraud policy teams on early days provisioning rules.
• Build and manage dashboards; analyze user behavior to identify friction points and drive improvements.
