Job summary

Synchrony is seeking an AVP, Authentication – Wallets to oversee performance and strategic actions for wallet authentication programs. You will collaborate with the Authentication, Fraud Strategy and Emerging Payments teams to enhance risk management and the user experience.

This hybrid role supports dashboards and analytics, policy development, and cross-functional initiatives with the broader payments ecosystem, with travel as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years within Credit, Marketing, Risk or Collections in Financial services, or 10+ years in lieu.

Responsibilities

• Monitor authentication performance and its impact on wallet performance.
• Develop tactical and strategic actions plans to address wallets/tokenization fraud risk.
• Partner with Emerging Payments team on tokenization and digital wallets programs.
• Partner with acquisitions and account management fraud policy teams on early days since provisioning authorization rules.
• Build and manage dashboards, leverage digital analytics tools to analyze user behavior, understand journey friction points, and drive improvement opportunities.
• Perform deep dive analysis of authentication leakage.
• Research and respond to complaints regarding the wallets program.
• Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned.
